What it does
Warehouse receiving and inventory for goods that turn up with no barcode, no SKU and no paperwork.
Why it's different
Most warehouse software starts from a barcode. It assumes a supplier has already decided what the item is, given it a number and printed it on the box — so the job is to scan, match, and put it away.
That falls apart when the stock is donations, salvage, returns, liquidation or anything second-hand. Nothing has a number. Nobody has decided what it is yet.
That decision is the work. Meridian Systems starts there: it categorizes, labels and tracks stock that arrives with no identity, and gives it one that holds for the rest of its life in your building.
How it works
- Sort at the door. Categories built around what you actually receive, not a supplier's catalogue.
- Every item gets a code you created, printed and attached as it is received — one per object, never repeated.
- Scanner-first, on a touchscreen rather than a desktop.
- Offline-first, because a warehouse with no signal is still a warehouse.
Pricing
No setup fee. Cancel whenever.
- Unlimited locations, regions and staff logins
- Every feature — nothing held back for a higher tier
- Works offline, syncs when it can
- Free updates
- Support from the people who built it
Priced per receiving station rather than per user, the same way Label Logic is priced per tagging station — you pay for the benches you actually run, not the number of people who walk past them.
Getting started
The hardware is a printer, a tablet and a scanner, and the supplies page lists what we run and why — including why a warehouse label is a different size from a price tag.
Email support@meridian-technologies.net with how many receiving benches you are setting up and we will send back a specific list with part numbers.
